At last night's Board of Fire Commissioner's meeting we celebrated a milestone with the promotion of a long time member. A big congratulations to our newest Lieutenant, John Stenton!

We were also fortunate enough to swear in two volunteer firefighters, new member Mark Patricola and returning member Justin Bates. Welcome!

Friday night members of the MLFD revisited the neighborhood struck by fire during the early morning hours of May 9th. We knocked on doors offering assistance with checking resident's smoke alarms.

During the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 9th, the MLFD was dispatched to Delancey Place for a report of a structure fire. Initial arriving units encountered fire within a first floor condominium with extension to the second floor. The fire was quickly controlled with the assistance of mutual aid support from the Hainesport, Medford, and Lumberton fire departments. Along with our partners from Mt. Laurel Emergency Medical Services and police. No injuries were reported.
